Quick summary
Stork is an educational gaming platform (simulated card games) using virtual currency. We use OAuth providers for authentication and may persist provider avatars to reduce rate limits. Virtual currency has no real-world value.
Definitions
Service: Stork web application and related features. User: anyone using the Service.
Using the Service
By using Stork you agree to these Terms and applicable laws. Additional rules may apply to specific games or features.
Acceptable Use & User Responsibilities
- Do not harass, abuse, or harm other users.
- Do not attempt to disrupt or overload the Service or its bots.
- Keep your account credentials secure.
Accounts & Authentication
Registration is available via email/password or OAuth. When using OAuth we receive whatever profile data the provider supplies during authentication.
Avatar Persistence & Backfill
We may fetch and persist profile images provided by OAuth providers and store them under /uploads. Images are validated (content type and size) before storing. We may run backfill scripts to persist existing external URLs; failed attempts may cause external URLs to be cleared to avoid exposing provider-hosted URLs to clients.
Virtual Currency
Virtual currency exists only within the Service and cannot be redeemed for real money.
Availability, Maintenance & Game Modes
We strive for availability but may suspend features for maintenance. Administrators may retain access while games are in maintenance mode.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is". We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or for conduct that harms the Service or other users.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which KenTech Enterprises LLC is organized.
